a. Course rationale The cultural internship aims at giving the student insight into the workings of the cultural industry. His ability to work according to plan is tested as well as his ability to work in a team and to act independently. b. Competences and competence levels to be attained (Miller) 1.1.1. After a few introductory sessions (contract, report..) the student starts an internship of 120 hours in a Brussels cultural institution. He gets to know the institution and he carries out tasks (administration, organization, writing reports...). After the internship he writes a report of 3,200 words, in which he analyzes the institution. He also writes down his own comments.
