How to find courses?

Comment choisir les cours offerts aux FUSL pour l’année 2012-2013 sur le site-web?

Les intitulés de cours et les descriptifs des cours sont disponibles sur le site-web des Facultés  (www.fusl.ac.be) en suivant le parcours suivant :

1) Cliquer sur la Faculté qui vous intéresse

2) Choisir le programme qui vous intéresse en fonction du domaine d’études (ex. sciences politiques)

3) Choisir, dans le programme de bachelier en …,  le cursus qui vous intéresse (ex. : deuxième année en ingénieur de gestion)

4) Dans le cursus, choisir  "majeure unilingue" pour les cours en français ; choisir « majeure bilingue français-anglais » pour trouver la liste des cours donnés en anglais et leur descriptif

5) Parcourir les cours présentés  : c’est ici que vous pouvez cliquer sur le n° de cours pour obtenir le « plan de cours » . Celui-ci vous donne le résumé, les objectifs, les prérequis pour suivre ce cours, etc

Informations pratiques

Q1 = 1er quadrimestre

Q2 = 2ème quadrimestre

A = cours annuel (Si vous ne restez pas toute l’année, il faut diviser le nombre d’ECTS par deux !!)

How to find courses?

You can find the complete list of courses given at FUSL on the following web-site : (www.fusl.ac.be). The courses programmes will be updated in June-July each year. You can find the exact title and a short description of each course by following the next indications :  

1) Click on the name of the Faculty you want to consult (i.e. "Faculté des sciences économiques, sociales et politiques"  (on the right upper corner of the welcome page) or directly on the following links

Faculty of Law

Faculty of Economics, Social and Political Sciences

2) Choose the programme you want to consult  in the "Programmes de cours" that you can see in the left column (i.e. "Bachelier en sciences économiques et de gestion")

4) Choose the degree course which interests you (i.e. : 1st cycle = undergraduate studies -  bachelier en sociologie et anthropologie)

5) Have a look in the  degree course that you have chosen  the courses from the 2nd and 3rd year. If you want to attend courses in French, than select  "orientation : base". If you want to attend courses in English or Flemish, than select  "orientation : bilingue anglais ou bilingue néerlandais".

6) Glance at the 2nd and  3rd year courses (here if you click on the code or the title of the course, you will find the syllabus - what we call here the "plan de cours" -  which consists of the summary of the course, the objectives, the prerequisite, the books used, the type of evaluation, etc.).

Pratical information :

Q1 = 1st semester = Fall semester

Q2 = 2nd semester = Spring semester

A = annual course (If you stay only one semester, you have to divide the ECTS number by two)
